Osmogenic barriers are based on the use of dilution water and specific products. These products contain water repellent elements, made of rather long hydrocarbons chains, with properties that enable them to form large molecular aggregates of various types called micelle. Osmogenic barriers are the only solution in the case of wide spread emissions when conveying systems cannot be used; they are also very efficient in the case of conveyed emissions, with the use of bars equipped with spraying nozzles set up directly inside stacks. Furthermore, they constitute synergic solutions to activities based on chemical-physical methods using washing towers (Scrubbers), adsorption towers, or biological methods (biofilters). As a matter of fact, they operate efficiently when set up upstream or downstream of environmental equipment. All the treatment efficiencies for the processes offered by Labio Test were tested with olfactometric surveys ensured as of standard EN 13725. Tests demonstrated a more than 75% efficiency rate in the fields of application surveyed.
